Dear rowers and team managers,
With the blessings from SDBA, SSC, Singapore Pools and Sava Pte Ltd, we are proud to present to you the first ever sprinting event in Singapore. This non-profit event is brought to you by a group of rowers, for the rowers, striving to achieve closer community spirit and ties. We want to reach out to fellow paddlers to take this opportunity to bond in a fun and yet competitive environment. This event promises to be very different.
When?
- Date - 27th March 2004
- Time - 1pm to 7.30pm
- Closing Date for registration - 18th March 2004, 12.00pm
- Drawing Date for lanes and Q&A session - 20th March 2004 (to be confirmed)

- SAVA Breast Cancer Invitational Challenge (invites only)

Why should you be part of the excitement?
- Piped-in music throughout event.
- Close proximity to the actual event.
- Each registered participant will get a free event tee-shirt.
- Medals/Trophies for finals and plate-finals winners.

- Post-race Prize presentation and F&B Party/F&B(the first ever!) from 7.30pm till late.
- Camaraderie and a celebration that the true spirit of rowing lives!
How?
Registration cost is $250/- per team per event. Payment should be made to: Sava Pte Ltd, our sponsor and promoter of the event. Applications will be accepted on a first received email basis. No limit on the number of categories registered per team. However, teams are not encouraged to submit multiple entries for same category. In other words, TEAM A and B (from same organization/team) for the same category will not be entertained.
So.........get a move on! If you do not have enough rowers to form a team, we encourage you to start recruiting your rowers now! The objective for this event is to allow the community to break the ice and get to know one another better. If you need us to match-make you with other rowers to form a team, drop us a mail. There’s no guarantee, but we will do our best!
RULES & REGULATIONS
We intend to adhere closely to SDBA's Rules and Regulations, with slight amendments in order to achieve our objective.
CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
Due to limited resources, we will need assistance in various aspects of this event. If you believe that you can contribute in anyway, please indicate your interest. As we are organizing this non-profit event out of passion and interest, you may experience a slight delay in us responding to your queries at times. We seek your understanding and will do our utmost to answer your queries and meet your request.
